February 2007

Dear Supporters, Family and Friends -

The month of February was full of construction. As I told you last month, Daniel and Tammy, the missionaries, where given the ability to be able to buy a home. Because of the extremely high prices of homes in France, the one they were able to afford was in need of some work. In little over a month, we were able to turn the three-bedroom, one bath, into a four bedroom (one office), two bathroom home. There were several reasons why this was so necessary for them. Tammy's mother will be coming to live with them starting in July, and thus they needed a place for her. As well as the fact that while renting a house gives them a place, it is more or less throwing money away every month, while buying a home will give them a bit of equity.

While working at the house, we were able to meet, and get to know both the plumber, Patrick, from Ghana, and the tiler, Louran, from France. Patrick is already a believer in God, and seems very opened to learning more. Louran is also religious, and is searching. After talking with Daniel has renounced the faith that he had had in Islam, and had dedicated himself to studying the Bible once a week. We are all very encouraged to see this progress in his heart.

During the month of February I was also blessed to start having classes with a new student, Vivianna. She comes form Chili, but has lived in France for the past 4 years, studying law. She is a believer, and we have been able to focus all of our classes on to spiritual subjects. While she is currently not attending a church, she is, from what I see, searching for the fulfillment that only God can bring.

The next three months, are my last here in Strasbourg. My plans are to spend as much time with the members of the church as possible, sharing Jesus with them. Also, to take the friends, and contacts I have made and make sure that they have strong relationships with the people who are staying. I will be doing the same thing with the secretary work that I have been in charge of, including the web page, and correspondence course.

Please keep the work in Strasbourg in your prayers. There is so much work to be done here, and I know God will provide the people and the finances needed to continue the work here. Thank you for all you have done for this church, for me, and for the kingdom.

God bless you all - Pamela D.
