Dear Supporters, Family and Friends –

Happy New Year! I pray that your Christmas’ were blessed and that your New Year celebration was wonderful! I also pray that God blesses your new year with love and peace, and that this year is filled with His glory and the growth of His kingdom.

I’d like to share with you a few of the events that have happened the past month and the things that are being learned from them.

First for all, I would like to share with you a little about the time have been spending with the AIM students, and the exciting things happening there. At the beginning of the month I was able to spend some time visiting two of the AIM student’s Area Churches. These are churches that support the AIM program, where the students go through out the year as their mission field while they are in training. The first church I visited with was Sudan Texas, a church of about 150 people. The second was Lockney Texas, with around 75 members. Both churches were hugely welcoming, and I felt immediately at home with them.

Before we arrived in Lockney for Sunday worship, we went to a place called PAC which is a juvenile detention center. Each Sunday the AIMers go there and lead a Bible study. The boys and girls are separated, so it gives all the AIMers a chance to lead. I joined the girls and we talked about having faith in God, and what prayer is. I was able to share with the girls there that our faith is not just blind, but God gives us evidences in His world, through creation, history/archeology, and the Bible to know for sure who He is, and that what the Bible says is real. It was amazing to see their eyes light up at hearing truth.

This last month the AIMers were also put into their teams that are headed for 9 different locations all over the world. Below is a list of the locations that will be receiving students, and how many students they will be getting. (It happens from time to time that teams change, so this is a tentative list.)

  • Tlalpan, Mexico – 3
  • Guadalajara, Mexico – 5
  • Leon, Mexico - 6
  • Cuernavaca, Mexico - 7
  • Taranga, New Zealand – 4
  • Santa Anna, Honduras – 7
  • Port Elizabeth, South Africa – 8
  • Glasgow, Scotland – 6
  • Durres, Albania – 6

My sister will be headed to South Africa, Lord willing, this summer to work with the church there. Some of you already know Diana. We are extremely excited for the work she will be doing there with the church, and working with grade school and middle school students. If you would like more information about Diana and her work, please visit : www.pamelamcadams.com/diana/index.html .

I am extremely excited about finding out which AIM students I am going to be working with this next term. I’ve learned so much the past three years about working on a mission field as an apprentice, and I want to be able to share what I have learned with these young students. Please pray for me to have godly wisdom in what I say, Christ’s’ patience in how I act, and unconditional love in all I do.

As the next term starts, and I get ready to recommence my studies, please pray that my heart continues to be fully dedicated to what I am doing and that my focus stays pure in learning the Word so that I will be fully capable of teaching it, now and in the future.

Thank you all for all that you do for me as I am working hard to fulfill the ministry that God has given me. I am pray for you all that He is giving you strength to do the same!

God bless you all – Pamela D.

I have a little in saving to help cover the cost of this trip. As of right now, I will be able to pay for the plane ticket. Thus, I am in need of the rest of the funding for the trip. I know that God will provide the money that is needed, so that I will be able to go to France and help with the work that is being done there. There are so many things that need to be done, and people who need to be taught and loved.

If you know anyone who would be willing to help with some of the one time expenses of this campaign, please pass along their contact information, and I will send them some literature about France, and my involvment there. Thank you!
